To Whom It May Concern.

April 1, 2008

Here is the music and lyrics as you requested. I have thought of you often since our meeting at the Dahlia, praying that God is continuing to use you at Liberty and that you are continuing to grow in His grace and wisdom. I was so moved by your testimony, as I’m sure, was Idlewild Baptist. It is beautiful to see the tapestry that God is weaving out of your story, and it gives me hope for the rising generation that is hurting and broken. So thank you for sharing.

I have enclosed our CD demo, lyrics for those four songs as well as some others, our band bio and gig sheets. Since we talked, I traveled to Nashville with a similar press kit to meet with some recording engineers. God has opened a door there with a brilliant producer, John Mark Painter, who is interested in our music. He has requested that we come back in July to begin recording a professional grade album, which will then be distributed to the commercial market. He is giving us a very reasonable rate, pulling some favors to get some fantastic musicians in to record with. We are excited about where this path may lead, and I personally am anxious to hear my music come back thru the speakers the way I hear it in my head. We have had no such luck here in town, so this is a significant step.

I am not sure what role you will play in our story. I think it is amazing that you invested and supported your musician friend as she pursued her dreams. I don’t know whether our style of and our vision will resonate with you, but I trust God fully to provide the resources that we will need as of July to pursue this opportunity in Nashville. So if you feel led to get back in touch with us, our contact information is included. But if you choose to pass, I respect and understand that as well. We all have our own journey to walk, and I am just thankful that mine intersected yours – if only for one evening at the Dahlia.

Sincerely,
SSB
